Hello everyone ! Wow, I cannot believe I have not written a blog in over a year. Blogging was never my favorite thing to do. I did enjoy it from time to time building an audience before I opened my online store. A chance to just escape and say exactly what’s on your mind with no judgment. I must say it’s been one hell of a year.
Since 2018, I have opened a physical store and created at least 10 to 15 new styles of luxury high heels. I even had time to launch a men’s collection featuring my all-time favorite crush JON B. It’s been a mix of emotions throughout the year, from continuing to build the brand to never having time to do anything else and while working out trying to still make time for friends. It’s been a blessing to everything God has given me this year and thus far.
Hopefully everyone’s doing amazing and continuing to follow their dreams. My biggest word of advice is never give up. Even when I want to tell myself I want to give up, I have no choice but to keep going.
I just had an amazing week. CARDI B rocked my shoes last Sunday to the premiere of her new movie Hustlers. Just when I didn’t think she was going to wear them, she did. Everything takes time and sometimes people forget that you cannot rush perfection and you cannot build Rome in a day.
Remember to take care of yourself before anybody else and never let anyone pull you in too many different directions. It’s OK to say no to people. It's OK to also be selfish with your time because at the end of the day, you know what’s best for you.
People always congratulate me on how well I’ve done in a short amount of time. These last three years of my life have been crucial. The reason why I’ve been so successful is because I’ve been very selfish with who I spend my time with and how much energy I take in from other people around me. It’s called tunnel vision. You come up for air and to eat and to go back into focus mode because right now is crucial to finish off the rest of the year.
